We all face personal challenges—and acknowledging this is a step toward healing. My overarching goal is to reduce the stigma surrounding mental health by promoting awareness, understanding, and open dialogue. I aim to empower my clients by helping them confront and navigate their individual struggles through evidence-based practices. These include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Exposure Therapy, Family Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Trauma-Focused CBT (TF-CBT), and psychoeducation.
I hold a Master of Social Work (MSW) from Campbellsville University and am a Certified Social Worker (CSW), currently pursuing my Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) credential. I bring several years of experience in diverse social work and therapeutic roles.
My professional journey began in child protective services, where I supported families through reunification and adoption, helping create safe and nurturing environments. I’ve also served as a case manager, connecting clients with essential resources, and as a Social Services Director in a long-term care facility, where I supported residents and their families—many of whom were navigating Alzheimer's, dementia, and complex physical and mental health issues.
In addition, I have worked with individuals affected by substance use, facilitating Intensive Outpatient Programs (IOP) and DUI classes. Over the past year, I have served as an outpatient therapist, working with clients ages three and up. I have a particular passion for supporting children and families experiencing behavioral challenges, and I also work with individuals dealing with anxiety, depression, relationship issues, life transitions, schizophrenia, grief, trauma, and adjustment disorders.
My approach is client-centered, compassionate, and grounded in evidence-based practice. I believe in the power of resilience and the importance of providing a safe space where individuals can grow, heal, and thrive.
