Elizabeth Miller, B.S., MA. Ed., LPCC, RPT: Florence
Since 2020, I have been dedicated to providing compassionate and affirming mental health support, with a primary focus on children and adolescents. While I have experience working with individuals of all ages, my passion lies in supporting neurodivergent clients in a way that honors and affirms their unique experiences.
I specialize in helping individuals navigate anxiety, depression, and life transitions, offering a safe and supportive space for self-discovery, personal growth, and empowerment. My goal is to assist clients in developing coping skills, improving interpersonal and communication abilities, fostering independence, and embracing self-expression.
I earned both my Bachelor of Science in Psychology and Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Eastern Kentucky University and became a Registered Play Therapist in 2024. My therapeutic approach incorporates a variety of evidence-based and expressive modalities, including Child-Centered Play Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Sandtray Therapy, AutPlay Therapy, Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Art-Based Therapy, and Therapeutic Games. By blending these approaches, I strive to create a therapeutic environment that is not only effective but also engaging and tailored to each individual’s needs.
Whether you or your child are seeking support for emotional well-being, skill-building, or self-exploration, I am here to help. I look forward to working together on this journey toward healing and growth.
