My use of CBT techniques helps my clients to first become aware of harmful, maladaptive, or unwanted thoughts and behaviors. After that, we can explore where these thoughts and behaviors stem from, what triggers them, how to prepare for them, and ultimately how to redirect and counteract them. By shedding light and awareness on the problem(s), we are then able to take our power back and lead our thoughts in a direction and manner that is positive and fulfilling to our lives. My clients tend to come back to me due to the strong therapeutic alliance we build. I aim to create a safe space where my clients feel comfortable to share and discuss anything. I won’t flinch at even the most intense topics (believe me, I’ve seen worse), and I will match your energy and meet you where you are.
