Madison Miller, LCSW, Clinical Director: Lexington
Madison (they/them or she/her) earned her bachelor’s degrees in psychology and gender women’s studies, as well as a certificate in undergraduate social science research from the University of Kentucky in 2021. They continued at the University of Kentucky and completed their master’s degree in social work with a clinical social work certificate in 2023. In late 2023 they completed parts 1 & 2 of EMDR training and consultation through an EMDRIA-approved program at the Institute for Creative Mindfulness. Madison uses humor, honesty, and compassion to foster connections with clients. In addition to providing one-on-one, couples, and group services, they have advocated for policy reform, provided medical and legal advocacy for survivors of sexual violence, and worked on resource development for the LGBTQIA2S+ community in Central Kentucky. Madison’s practice and values are aligned with anti-oppression and trauma-informed frameworks and informed by queer and feminist theory. Madison incorporates evidence-based practices including Internal Family Systems (IFS) and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) to assist clients in their healing.
