Margo Munday, Marriage and Family Therapist Associate

Margo Munday, Marriage and Family Therapist Associate, Resolutions Therapy Practice, KY

I feel honored to walk alongside you as you make sense of your experiences and navigate life’s challenges. I earned my degree in Family Sciences from the University of Kentucky, with a clinical emphasis in Couple and Family Therapy. My work is grounded in a systemic approach, meaning I look at the bigger picture—how your relationships, environment, and life experiences all shape what you’re going through.

I enjoy working with teens, adults, and couples, and I have a strong passion for couples counseling. I have advanced training in Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), an approach I value because it helps couples understand the deeper emotions and needs underneath conflict. Many couples find themselves stuck in negative cycles—having the same arguments, feeling unheard, or growing more distant over time. I help you slow those moments down, recognize the pattern you’re both caught in, and begin to shift it so you can rebuild connection and trust.

I also draw from evidence-based approaches such as Internal Family Systems (IFS), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and exposure-based techniques. I tailor therapy to you, focusing on what will be most helpful for your goals and what you’re currently facing.

I believe you have a natural ability to grow, heal, and better understand yourself. Sometimes that process gets blocked by stress, past experiences, or unhelpful patterns, and my role is to help you work through those barriers in a supportive and practical way.

Whether you’re dealing with personal struggles or relationship challenges, my goal is to create a space where you feel comfortable, understood, and supported. You don’t have to figure everything out on your own—we can work through it together.
