Melissa Wolfe, LPCC: Lexington
Melissa earned her bachelor’s degrees in psychology in 1997 and her master's degree in counseling in 1999, both from Marshall University in Huntington, WV. Having been a counselor for over 20 years, she has had the opportunity to help children, teens, and adults with a variety of challenges in both inpatient and outpatient settings. Melissa genuinely values the client/counselor relationship. Using a person-centered approach, she prefers to connect with clients and join them in whatever season of life they are in, explore obstacles they may they be facing, and focus on empowerment, and development of a greater understanding of self. It is Melissa’s goal to join your journey to creating the life you want to live. She says, "Whether it is with feelings of anxiety, depression, or trying to sort through past trauma, it can seem like an impossible mountain to climb. The good news: You don't have to do it alone."
